Meet Our Staff

Dr. Scarpella was born in Denver, and raised in Broomfield, Colorado. Upon graduating from Broomfield High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he was trained to be a dental assistant, a dental hygiene technician, and a dental laboratory technician.

After completing a five-year tour in the Navy, Dr. Scarpella returned to Colorado and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.  From there he studied dentistry, and in 1987, received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Dr. Scarpella has National Board Certification, as well as, Central Regional Board Certification. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Northeastern Colorado Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.  He is also a past president of the Colorado Dental Association.

Due to his high standards for excellence and ethics in dentistry, Dr. Scarpella has been selected by his peers to be a member of the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy, as well as the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Scarpella is happily married to wife, Karen, and has four grown children: Janna, Natalie, Julianne and Frank. He has nine grandchildren. He also has two dogs – Mickey and Augie!

In his spare time, he is a barbershop singer.  He enjoys writing, arranging and composing music, and spending time working on his hobby farm.

Dr. Scarpella has been in practice in Louisville and Brighton since 1987, and has currently practiced in Fort Morgan since 2014.  He considers Fort Morgan to be his dental “home”!


Cheryl was born and raised in Fort Morgan and also raised her sons here.  She has been a dental business office manager for 32 years.  She is dedicated to helping our patients with scheduling, financial arrangements, and anything else that helps them get the treatment they deserve.

In her spare time she likes spending time with her sons and their families which includes 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  She is undoubtedly a dedicated grandma.  She is also very actively involved with her church


Codee is our Dental Hygienist and has been a hygienist for 5 years.

She was born and raised in Wiggins and received her education from Colorado Northwestern Community College.

She moved to North Carolina to be with her military spouse and now they have moved back to be close to her family. Codee loves getting to know people and strives to make patients feel completely comfortable. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their optimal oral health.

Codee is happily married and has a chocolate lab named Remee. She loves spending time with her family and to be outdoors.


Daisy was born in Mexico, but grew up in Colorado. She has spent most of her life in Fort Morgan.  After graduation from Fort Morgan High School, Daisy moved to Denver and pursued a degree in the media broadcasting field.  She did some interning at a few radio stations like KS 107.5 and Alice 105.9. Daisy recently moved back to Fort Morgan with her 4 year old daughter to be closer to family and friends.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and her daughter, who keeps her on her toes.

She has chosen to pursue a career in Dental Assisting.  Daisy loves working with people and is looking forward to provide optimal service and helping her patients get the best smile possible.  She looks forward to meeting new people.


Sonia was born in Denver (Go Broncos!) but grew up in Fort Morgan for most of her life.  She enjoys the small-town vibe.  Sonja has lived & visited other states but calls Colorado home.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband & all her family and friends.  She loves to travel & enjoys learning about new cultures, watching football games or movies and just exploring this great state.  Attempting to ski is still on her bucket list.

She has front desk experience in a dental office previously but has chosen to pursue dental assisting as her career.  She recognizes that going to the dentist could be a frightening experience for some patients but she hopes she can assist them to make their experience a great one.
